Services for Mr. Jeffrey "Sweets" Brewer, age 43, of Richton, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2024 at Hickory Grove 1st Church of God.  Mr. Brewer passed from this life on May 5, 2024 in Richton, Mississippi.  Bro. Shaun Ashley Hinton and Rev. Dennis Polk will officiate the service and burial will follow in Odom Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Chase Dewitt, Dickie Dewitt, Stephen Bunnell, Marty Guy, James Rylee, and Justin Rylee.  Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Dante Edmund.

Mr. Brewer was a man of Jesus.  He loved to spend time with his family.  He also loved to hunt and fish.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dwight Brewer; and brother, Ricky Brewer.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Brewer of Richton; sons, Tyler (Leslie) Brewer and Brandon (Destiny) Brewer, both of Richton; daughter, Gracey Brewer of Richton; 3 grandchildren and 2 on the way; mother, Ginger Eldridge of Richton; brothers, Bobby Brewer of Richton, Ronnie Brewer of Richton, Charles "Chucky" Brewer of Laurel, and Shaun Ashley Hinton of Moselle; sister, Crystal (James) Rylee of Richton; and 21 nieces and nephews.
