Mrs. Jeanne M. Skelton, age 67, of Mobile, passed from this life on January 30, 2023 at the Mobile Infirmary.  Jeanne was born on January 14, 1956 in Mobile to Ronald Adolph "Ronnie" and Dorothy Faye "Dot" Williams.

Jeanne was a homemaker, but most importantly she was a devoted wife, loving mother, fantastic grandmother, caring friend, and devout Christian.  Jeanne loved everyone and always went out of her way to help anyone.  She was fiercely protective of her family and loved to spoil them whenever she could.  She loved to travel, especially to Disney World.
She was preceded in death by her father Ronnie Williams.
She is survived by her loving husband, James Edwin Skelton; her sons, Jody (Lindsey) Gurley of Columbus, MS and Jeffery (Jollen) Gurley of Lucedale, MS; her stepchildren, Josh (Stacie) Skelton of Saraland, AL, Matt ( Tabitha) Skelton of Mobile, AL, and Jennifer Turner of Mobile, AL; her mother, Dorothy Williams of Mobile, AL; her mother-in-law, Janie Skelton of Mobile, AL; her brothers, Ronnie (Susie) Williams, Jr. of Wilmer, AL and Michael (Julie) Williams of Citronelle, AL; her niece, Jennifer (Ladd) Pulliam of Leakesville, MS; and 15 grandchildren.
Services celebrating Jeanne's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2023 at Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church in Saraland.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Friday , also at the church.  Burial will follow in the Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
