Services for Mrs. Jeanette Williford Cooley, age 84, of Richton, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Jones & Son chapel in Richton.  Mrs. Cooley passed from this life on February 1, 2026 at her residence.  Rev. Patsy Busbee will officiate the service and burial will follow in Cochran Cemetery in Richton.  Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Walley, David Dewitt, Hayden Bowman, Dewayne Hollinghead, Mark Williford, Weston Bowman, and Thomas Wayne Williford as alternate.

Mrs. Cooley worked for many years as a store manager. She loved spending time with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Cooley; parents, Buck and Flossy Williford; grandchildren, Brad Goolsby and Dakota Creel; and brothers, Lavette Williford, Winford Williford, and James Wayne Williford.

She is survived by her children, Lavon (Kathy) Langley of Richton, Kieta Goolsby of Pelahatchie, Linnette Hollinghead of Richton, and Lineta (Tony) Pulliam of Leakesville; grandchildren, Joshua (Vickie) Cochran, Heather (Johnny) Martin, Vance Goolsby, Dewayne Hollinghead, Bailey Pulliam, and Lauren Grace Pulliam; great-grandchildren, Weston, Hailey, Bella, Beau, and Hayden; sisters, Patsy Busbee and Audrey Walley; along with a host of great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
