5:30 - 10:00 p.m.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Pineview Independent Church of God for Mr. Jason Brewer, age 59, of Richton, who died on November 30, 2023.  Bro. Steve Brewer, Bro. Hunter Brewer and Bro. Ricky Palmer will officiate the service with burial to follow in Crossroads Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be John Brewer, Jeff Hudson, Brent Brewer, Leo Pipkins, Lee Scarbrough and Ricky Tingle.

Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. J. C. Brewer and Arva Walley Brewer; paternal grandparents, William "Bud" Brewer and Zella Brewer; and maternal grandparents, Jim and Mag Walley.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Brewer of Richton; daughter, Brittney (Matthew) Smith of Runnelstown; grandson, Kayson Smith of Runnelstown; granddaughter, Maelynn Smith of Runnelstown; brothers, Byron Brewer of Waynesboro, Jeffery Brewer, Samuel Brewer and Chad Brewer all of Richton; sisters, Leisa Brewer of Richton, Tammy Anderson and Jane Thompson of Waynesboro, Deborah Pendleton of Hattiesburg, and Virginia Bonner of Ovett; father-in-law, Robert Edwards of Richton; mother-in-law, Shirley Edwards of Richton; and sister-in-law, Karen Hudson of Clara.

Jason was a member of Pineview Independent Church of God.  He worked as a supervisor with Hood Industries in Beaumont for over 25 years.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 – 10:00 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2023 at Pineview Independent Church of God.
