Services for Mr. James Mahlon Lott, age 59, of Beaumont, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Jones and Son Chapel in Beaumont.  Mr. Lott passed from this life on November 5, 2023.  Bro. Delton Parker will officiate the service and burial will follow in Beaumont Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Charles Lott, Ray Lott, Michael Herring, George Mills, Charlie Byrd, and Billy Lee.

Mr. Lott was a member of the First Baptist Church of Beaumont.  He retired after 25 years of service as a lumber grader and was also employed at Johnson Control as a door fabricator for several years.

Mr. Lott was preceded in death by his father, Shelby Lott; and grandson, Angel Valdez.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Lott of Beaumont; daughters, LeAnn (Joey) James of Alabama, Pamela (Sergio) Valdez of Beaumont, and Shelby (Davario)  Lott-Myles of Beaumont; 10 grandchildren; mother, Mary Helen Lott of Beaumont; and brothers, Charles Lott of Beaumont, Nathan (Renee) Lott of Richton, Ray (Jackie) Lott of Beaumont, and Mike (Becky) Dupree of Minnesota.
