Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2022, in the Jones and Son Chapel of Moselle for Mr. James Knotts, age 68, of Ellisville, MS who passed from this life on December 15, 2022 at his residence. Bro. Glen Shoemake, Bro. Chris Cromwell and Jeremy Johnson will officiate with burial to follow in the Moselle Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Simon Davis, Alex Knight, Bailey Davis, Shayne Bradburn, Stephen Cromwell, Greg Knotts, and John Robert Thompson as alternate.  Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Knotts and David Knotts.

James enjoyed roofing, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Knotts of Ellisville; daughter, Lisa (Daniel) Nobles of Petal; son Ricky Watson of Eastabuchie; grandchildren, Crystal Easterling, Cameron Davis, Bailey Davis, and Toni, Alex and Dillon Breazeale; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Doris Herrington, Margaret Estelle Eaton, Clara Revis, Audrey Cromwell, Mary Thompson, Edward "Buck" Knotts, Susie Russell, and Sally Knotts (Kim); and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Rosa Lee Knotts; sisters, Frances Knotts and Barbara Mooney; brothers, McAurthur Knotts, Carl Knotts, Julius "Squeaky" Knotts; and stepson, David Breazeale.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2022, at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Moselle.
