Services for Mr. James Ray Beal, Sr., age 51, of Richton will be held at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Hickory Grove Holiness Church in Waynesboro.  Mr. Beal passed from this life on October 26, 2024 in Greene County, Mississippi.  Bro. Evans Freeman and Bro. Maddox Ross will officiate the service with burial to follow in Hickory Grove Holiness Church Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Dustin Beal, Elandon Beal, James Ray Beal, Jr., Seth Lea, Chance Beal, Michael Beal, Bobby Rushing, and John Brewer.

Mr. Beal was employed with John Brewer Logging for many years.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. "Stub" Beal; mother, Montile Beal; stepmother, Gladys Mae Beal; and brothers, Billy Joe Beal, Alan Beal, and Jimmy Beal.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Walley of Piave; sons, Dustin (Mackenzie) Beal of Piave, Elandon Beal of Piave, James Ray (Amanda) Beal, Jr. of Piave, and Seth (Lindsey) Lea of Beaumont; grandchildren, Alissa Beal, Ryleigh Beal, Waylon Beal,and Bentlee Beal; brothers, Johnny (Carrie) Beal and Charlie (Diane) Beal, both of Ricthon; sisters, Susie Dale Brewer and Voncile Bonner, both of Richton; and a host of nephews and other relatives.
