Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 7, 2024, at Moselle Memorial Baptist Church for Mrs. Ina Mae Smith, age 88, of Petal. Mrs. Smith passed from this life on August 26, 2024, at Bedford Care of Petal. Service will follow with a burial in the Moselle Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

She was born on May 29, 1936, in Jones County, Mississippi to Kerney and Bessie Pool. Ina was a gifted crafter that loved sharing her gift and crafts with others. She enjoyed being outdoors in a garden and loved beautiful flowers of every kind. Her paintings, ornaments and quilts reflected her love of nature and her fellow humans. Often you could hear her singing praises to God for all he had blessed her with.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Smith; son, Robert Neil Smith and parents.

She is survived by her daughter Debra Renee (Aaron) Cleveland of Deer Park, WA; son Anthony Glenn (Dianne Walker) Smith of Vero Beach, FL; daughter-in-law Mary Smith of Beacon Falls, CT; and 6 grandchildren, Heather, Amanda, Neil, Dennis (Katrina), Samuel and Alexandra: and 5 great-grandchildren, Devin, Addison, Lia, Sydney and Sebastian.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the children's programs at Moselle Memorial Baptist Church, 6 Beason Rd., Moselle, MS.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 7, 2024 at Moselle Memorial Baptist Church.
