Services for Mrs. Helen Williams, age 90, of Lucedale, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 10, 2025 at Bexley Baptist Church in Lucedale.  Mrs. Williams passed from this life on January 6, 2025 in Lucedale.  Bro. Larry Havard will officiate the service and burial will follow in the Williams Family Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Pulliam, George McLeod, Delaine McLeod, Tommy Dunnam, Harrison Pitts, Hunter McLeod, Kaleb McLeod, and Karsen McLeod.

Helen was a certified nursing assistant and worked many years as a nursing aide in a nursing home and personal care home.  She loved spending time with her family, working in her flower beds and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Williams; son, Stanley A. Williams; daughter, Denise Johnston; parents, John Luther and Mary Alice Merritt; and brothers, Jack Merritt and Luther Merritt.

She is survived by her son, Ronny (Leigh) Williams of Lucedale; daughter-in-law, Edna Williams of Lucedale; grandchildren, Ashley (Delaine) McLeod, Jessica (George) McLeod, Hannah (Jacob) Pulliam, Kyle (Hannah) Williams, Justin (Jenny) Walley, Leslie (Tommy) Dunnam, Alli (Harrison) Pitts, Ty LaFontaine, KK LaFontaine, and Peyton LaFontaine; great grandchildren, Hunter (Jasee) McLeod, Kaleb, Kayleigh, Karsen, and Kannon McLeod, Anna Claire and Caroline Pulliam, Ely Rayleigh, Kooper, and Katie Pitts, Marley and Kase Williams, Jenson and Juliet Walley, Keagan Havard; great great grandchildren, Macen McLeod and Hazel LaFontaine; and sister Yvonne Carter of Lucedale.
