Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022, in the Jones and Son Chapel of Moselle for Mrs. Helen T. Threat, age 76, of Hattiesburg who passed from this life on August 7, 2022, at Forrest General Hospital. Rev. Kathy Robbins and Rev. Rodney Sessions will officiate with burial to follow in the Forrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Smith, Skip Longstaff, Mickey Lambert, Brad Trim, Terry Trim and JD Trim.

Helen worked for many years as a secretary for Jones and Son Funeral Home. She was a very active member of Petal United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Threat; daughter, Jessica Threat; grandchildren, Jayden and Julian Threat; parents, Eddie and Almeda Trim; sister, Barbara Campbell and brother, Tommy Trim.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Heather) Threat of Hattiesburg and Matthew (Kristin) Threat of Petal; grandchildren, Kaci and Abby Threat; step grandchild, Jonah Kirouac and brother, Dr. David (Brenda) Trim of Petal.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022, at Jones and Son Funeral Home.
