Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery of Seminary for Mrs. Helen Mae Sanford, age 89, of Seminary. Mrs. Sanford passed from this life on March 17, 2025, at Forrest General Hospital. Bro. David Maughon will officiate with the burial to follow the services.

Helen Mae Sanford was born on September 30, 1935, in Mississippi to Stanley and Velma Dearman Sanford. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Sanford (Cindy) of Seminary, Darrell Sanford (Karen) and Freddie Sanford both of Florence; daughter, Denise Wade (Randy) of Seminary; grandchildren, Stephanie Cooper (Tom) of Richton, Kayla Busfield of Meridian, Samantha Foster (Timothy) of Petal, Skyla Thoms (Mark) of Seminary, B.J. Morrison (Jamie) of Hattiesburg and Chris Morrison (Daisy) of Seminary; great-grandchildren, Jathan Stewart (Allison), Diamond Simmons (George), Joelton Stewart (Lana), Luke Atkison, Augustus Foster, Emily Foster, Seth Foster, Jase Foster, Deven Thoms, Dilan Thoms and Audrey Busfield and great-great grandchildren, Cade, Penelope, Magnolia, Sadie Jo and Maelee.
