Services for Mr. Grant Dykes, age 49, of Richton will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2024 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Mr. Dykes passed from this life on May 20, 2024 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.  Bro. Ronnie Maxie and Bro. Ricky Palmer will officiate the service and burial will follow in Edwards Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Peyton Dykes, Jason Dykes, Shannon Scoggins, Matthew Bailey, Carey Dykes, Mike Newell, Jr. Bates, Shane Melvin, and Anthony Newell.

Grant worked as a truck driver for his fathers logging company for many years.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Phillip (Kelly) Dykes of Richton; grandson, Jett; parents, Burnie and Lynn Dykes of Richton; brother, Eric (Bernadette) Dykes of Richton; nephew, Peyton Dykes of Richton; and great nephew, Cash Dykes of Richton.
