Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Fairchild Cemetery for Mrs. Geraldine "Gerri" Mott, age 81, of Collins, who died on October 24, 2023 at her residence.  Bro. Steve Pickering will officiate the service.

Mrs. Mott was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Mott; parents, Clyde and Georgia Stout; brothers, Jim Stout, Loyal Stout, Sam Stout and Harold Jones; stepson, Ricky Mott; grandson, James Clark, Jr.; and great-grandson, Joey Livingston.

She is survived by her children, Jim (Jackie) Clark of Moselle, David Clark of Madison, Mike Mott of Collins, Brenda Davis of Moselle, Lisa Farris of Hattiesburg and Ann Marie Shoemake of Collins; step-children, Mark Mott, John Mott, Robin Mott and Sonya Lewis; partner, Ronny Walley and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mott was a founding member of Unity Baptist Church in Moselle.  She loved to read and cook all the time. She also enjoyed crocheting and listening to gospel music and adored her family and spending time with them.

Visitations for Mrs. Mott will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. at Jones & Son Funeral Home in Moselle.
