Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2023, in the Jones and Son Chapel of Moselle for Mr. George H. Tisdale, age 91, of Ellisville who passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Forrest General Hospital. Rev. Kenny Morris will officiate with burial to follow in the Oak Bowery Cemetery of Ellisville. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hilbun, Jason Morris, Brad Harrison, Reese Tisdale, Grayson Tisdale, Leslie Tisdale.

George was born on July 2, 1932 to Earl and Agnes Tisdale and was a lifelong resident of Jones County. He was an outstanding farmer and enjoyed sharing his garden with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy; sister, Earlene; nephews, Wallace and Ricky and niece, Katie.

He is survived by his brother, Terrell (Martha) Tisdale of Hattiesburg; nephew, James (Heather) Tisdale and a number of great nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle.
