Services for Mrs. Gaye Broome, age 82, of Richton will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Brewer Baptist Church in Richton.  Mrs. Broome passed from this life on January 28, 2024.  Bro. Jackie Spell will officiate the service with burial to follow in Frisco Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Broome, Scott Walley, Dakota Broome, Coen Walley, Chatom Manning, and Jason Guira.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Tim Odom and Carson Manning.

Mrs. Broome was a member of Loop Road Baptist Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and tending to her horses and her little dog.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jim Broome; and grandson, Kenneth Dale Walley.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, V.R. Broome of Richton; children, Regina (Sherman Dale) Walley of Richton and Kevin (Lisa) Broome of Front Royal, VA; daughter-in-law, Tish Broome of Petal; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Billie (Dean) Ezell of Charleston, SC, Julia Hughs of Georgia, and Betty (Kevin) Holland of Gulfport; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
