A memorial service will held at a later date at The Rock Church of Laurel for Mr. Gary Lee Pfuntner, age 72, of Ovett. Mr. Pfuntner went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 1, 2026. Bro. Jerry Rowley will officiate the service.

Gary was born on May 10, 1954, in New York to William Arthur and Evelyn Marie Englert Pfuntner. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in by his parents. He is survived by his special friends, James and Arlene Butler.
