INTERMENT:  Clark Cemetery

Graveside services for Mr. Garner Clark, age 91, of Leakesville, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Clark Cemetery, 9854 Old Avera Road, State Line.  Mr. Clark passed form this life on August 5, 2024 at his residence. Bro. Myron Schilling and Bro. Larry Havard will officiate the service.  Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Parnell, Alex Parnell, Chris Parnell, Frank Eubanks, Colby Risen, and Jamie Lynch.

Mr. Clark worked for most of his career with Laidlaw Construction in Mobile as a road builder.  He was an avid hunter and loved the oudoors and enjoyed gardening.

Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Poley and Vergie Clark; brother, David Clark; and sisters, Evelyn Manasco, Glendean Bennett, Lois King, and Alvenet Spurlock.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Clark of Leakesville; children, Jervis Howard (Tina) Clark of Agricola, Teresa Joyce Moss of Lucedale, Nora Denise Grace of Grand Bay, AL, Vicky Lee Messer of State Line, and  Lisa (Dan) Brewer; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Becky Williamson of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
