Moselle Memorial Gardens Cemetery

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Moselle Memorial Gardens Cemetery for Mrs. Frances Norris, age 90, of Petal. Mrs. Norris passed from this life on December 12, 2023 in the Perry County Nursing Center of Richton. Rev. Wendell Frazier will officiate the service with burial to follow.

She worked for many years as a beautician and taught Cosmetology at Pear River Junior College for 10 years. She was devoted to her family and dearly enjoyed spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Norris; son, James M. "Mike" Norris and parents, Willie and Vallie Herrington.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Norris, of Petal; sisters, Ava Dossett of Hattiesburg and Carolyn Yates of Nashua, NH and brother, Robert "Bob" Herrington of Petal.
