Services for Mrs. Frances Elaine Davis, age 85, of Beaumont, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, May 18, 2026 at Fairhope Missionary Baptist Church in Arlington.  Mrs. Davis passed from this life on May 15, 2026 at her residence.  Bro. Wendell Helton will officiate the service and burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Trent Cochran, Boo Hinton, Caleb Hinton, Marty Cochran, Ray Davis, Gathel Hinton, and Tanner Graham as alternate.

Mrs. Davis was a devoted member of Fairhope Missionary Baptist Church, where she faithfully served as pianist and organist for many years. Her love for music and dedication to her church touched countless lives throughout the years.  She retired as the Perry County Tax Collector and also served more than ten years as a dispatcher with the Perry County Sheriff's Department. In addition, she was an organist for Jones & Son Funeral Home for several years, offering comfort and compassion to many families through her music ministry.  Mrs. Davis will be remembered for her faithful service, kind spirit, and the lasting impact she made on her family, church, and community.

She was preceded in death by her husband, G.W. Davis; and parents, Cochran and Helen Lott.

She is survived by her daughter, Dolly (Earl) Johnston of Dixie; grandson, Bradley (Hannah) Mathis of Arlington; great-grandchildren, Charlee Keel of Wiggins, Colsen Wheeler Mathis and Adeline Mathis, both of Arlington; and sisters, Martha Mizell of Arlington and Ann Garner of New Augusta.
