Mr. Eugene "Jeep"  Clark, age 93, of Hattiesburg, passed from this life on March 19, 2025 at his residence.  A memorial service will be held at a later date where he will be buried next to wife and son in Ashland, Kentucky.

Mr. Clark loved his family, especially his grandchildren.  He was a high school and college basketball coach for several years and loved to go to the dog races.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Clark; son, Gregory Clark; and parents, Courtney and Hazel Clark.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Hawkins of Hattiesburg; grandsons, Jason (Kelly) Hawkins of Sumrall, Justin (Courtney) Hawkins of Ocean Springs, Jacob Hawkins of Hattiesburg, and Price Clark of Nashville; and grandchildren, Landon Hawkins, Parker Hawkins, Marley Hawkins, John Hudson Hawkins, Magee Hawkins, Holly Hawkins, Parker Hintz, and Joseph Hawkins.
