Services for Mrs. Ethyl Martin, age 94, of Aurora, Colorado, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Jones & Son chapel in Richton.  Mrs. Martin passed from this life on July 2, 2026, in Colorado.

Ethyl Martin passed away leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and cherished memories. Born and raised in Mississippi, Ethyl grew up alongside 13 siblings, where she developed the strong family values that remained at the center of her life. In her early twenties, she moved to Texas, where she built a loving home and raised her family.

Ethyl found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved tending to her garden, working puzzles, playing board games with family and friends, and spending quiet afternoons watching classic westerns. She adored John Wayne and never missed an opportunity to browse her favorite thrift stores in search of hidden treasures.

Known for her warm heart and friendly spirit, Ethyl truly never met a stranger. Her kindness, generosity, and welcoming nature touched countless lives, and she leaves behind family and friends spread across many states who will miss her dearly.  Ethyl's love for her family, her generous spirit, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome will be remembered always. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Ethyl is survived by her children, Helen Ross of Colorado, James (Donna) Scarbrough of Texas, and Rickey Scarbrough of Texas; grandchildren, Charlotte  (Bobby) Wiseman of Colorado, Grace (Randy) Evans of Costa Rica, Rebecca (Sal) Gaglio of Virginia, Michael (Cathy) Scarbrough of Texas, Brian (Justy) Scarbrough of Texas, and Dallas Kay of Texas; great grandchildren, Christena ((Justin) Kilburn of Arkansas, Matthew (Shelby) Ward of Arkansas, Angela (Mitchell) Ehrhardt of Colorado, Jessica Wiseman (Salvatore Fichera) of Florida, Joseph Gaglio of Virginia, Jacob Gaglio of Virgini,; and Jordan Gaglio of Virginia; great-great grandchildren, Skyler Wall, Caiden Kilburn, Aaron Frances, T.J. Ward, Pae Ward, and Ellie Ward, all of Arkansas, Hayden Ehrhardt and Sadie Ehrhardt of Colorado; brother, Howard (Mary) Graham of Mississippi; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members throughout Mississippi, all of whom will treasure her memory.
