Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 15, 2022, at Antioch Baptist Church in Leakesville for Mr. Ernest "Peanut" Miller, age 90, of Leakesville.  Mr. Miller passed from this life on August 12, 2022 at Sparrow Hills Personal Care Home in Lucedale. Bro. Paul Walters and Bro. David Clark will officiate the service with burial following in the Antioch Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Garrett Courtney, Caleb Miller, Caden Miller, Derrick Stewart, Damian Miller, and Brayden Miller.  Honorary pallbearers will be McDaniel Brewer and Donald "Tiny" Parnell.

Mr. Peanut Loved his family and children. He always was there to give advice and help with anything they were working on. He was always there to help when problems needed his attention. He was proud of all they did to continue the Miller name with pride and accomplishments.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, May Opal Miller; parents, Dave and Lillie Mae Miller; son, Billy Miller; and daughters, Barbara Miller and Brenda Miller.

He is survived by his daughters, Betty (John) Booth and Beverly Miller; sons, Ernest Ray "Ernie" (Joyce) Miller and Anthony "Tony" (Teana) Miller, all of Leakesville; grandchildren, Charles "Chucky" Miller, Tracy (Shannon) Walley, Brandee (Arnold) Valentine, Crystal (Laren) Turner, Derrick (Anna) Stewart, LeAnn Stewart, Billy Joe Stwart, Morgan Miller, Jeramie Miler, Amberly Miller, Desiree (Toby) Pierce, Damian "DD" (Tryesa) Miller, Raven Miller, Daniel Miller, Destiny Miller, Caleb Miller, and Bennett Miller; 23 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 15, 2022, at Antioch Baptist Church in Leakesville.

Jones and Son Funeral Home of Richton is in charge of arrangements.
