Services for Mrs. Edith C. Brumbaugh, age 90, of McLain, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Jones & Son Chapel in Beaumont.  Mrs. Brumbaugh passed from this life on May 27, 2026 at her residence.  Rev. Dan Clark and Bro. William McLendon will officiate the service and burial will follow in Beaumont Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Jason McLendon, Justin Harvison, Liam McLendon, Steven Brumbaugh, Royce Brumbaugh, Jr., Mason McLendon, Timothy McLendon, and Skyler Shelton.

Mrs. Brumbaugh led a life devoted to faith, family, and hard work.  She was a faithful member of Wingate Apostolic Church in New Augusta and she was a woman who found joy in the simple blessings of life. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and her church family, cherishing every moment spent with those she loved most. She enjoyed working in her yard, tending her flowers, and was never afraid of hard work, often spending time chopping wood and caring for her home with strength and determination.  Mrs. Brumbaugh's kindness, steadfast spirit, and love for others will be remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy of faith, love, resilience, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Brumbaugh; sons, James Earl Brumbaugh and Royce Brumbaugh; parents, Sircie and Roberta Clark; brothers, Roy Clark, Otis Clark, Douglas Clark, and Malcolm Clark; and sister, Sally Ruth Clark.

She is survived by her son, Charles Van (Paula) Brumbaugh of McLain; daughter, Joyce Marie "Sissie" Brumbaugh of McLain; daughter-in-law, Mary Brumbaugh of McLain; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Rev. Dan (Diane) Clark of Petal and Henry Prentis (Sandy) Clark of Noble, OK; sisters, Letty Lou Clark of Beaumont and Betty Sue (Devan) Byrd of McLain; and sister-in-law, Sheryll Clark of Runnelstown, along with numerous extended family members, friends, and loved ones.
