Services for Miss Earline Herrin, age 80, of Hattiesburg, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2025 at Jones and Son chapel in Hattiesburg.  Miss Herrin passed from this life on March 5, 2025 in Indian Land, South Carolina.  Burial will follow in Grantham Cemetery.

Miss Herrin worked at William Carey College in Hattiesburg for over 48 years.  In 2019 her outstanding contributions were acknowledged when the administrative addition connecting Fairchild Hall and Lorena R. Smith Hall was named in her honor.  She enjoyed spending time outside, walking, and looking at pretty flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Herrin and Corine Lambert Herrin.

She is survived by her nephews, Kelsey Herrin of Hattiesburg, Jimmy Herrin of Hattiesburg, and Larry Herrin of Sumrall; great nieces, Calleigh Herrin of Hattiesburg and River Grace Herrin of Braxton; and great nephews, Lane Herrin of Missouri, Tyler (Ashlyn) Herrin of Petal, and Cameron Herrin of Hattiesburg.
