Services for Mr. Dustin Butler, age 33, of Sumrall will be held at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Jones and Son Chapel in Hattiesburg.  Mr. Butler passed from this life on February 8, 2024 at his residence.  Devin Yates will officiate the service.

Mr. Butler enjoyed music and playing with his sons, nieces, and nephews.  He loved his entire family and many friends.

Mr. Butler was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Doris Ellenburg and Mildred Bennett; grandfathers, Louis Butler and Joe Bennett; cousin, Dustin White; and aunt, Dee Phillips.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Clayton and Connie Butler of Sumrall; mother and stepfather, Trish and Mike Cooley of Shawnee, OK; son, Ryan Butler; stepson, Hunter Reading; sisters, Amanda (J.D.) Cutrer of Ocean Springs and Leighonna (David) Lammers of Hattiesburg; brothers, Bill (Britnie) Yates of Soso and Devin (Bek) Yates of Charlotte, NC; neices, Bailee Cutrer, Bella Cutrer, Aspen Calder, Livie Yates, Novie Yates, Aubrey Stephens, and Kenzi Stephens; nephews, Corbyn Yates and Parker Yates; and girlfriend, Natalie Orrels.
