Services for Mr. Dorman Dean Brewer, 85, of Piave, will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  Dorman passed from this life on Monday, August 5, 2024. Bro. Delton Beall and Dorman's son-in-law, Bro. Eric Hattaway, will officiate the service with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Evans, Larry Evans, Windell Clark, Brad James, Brandon Brewer, and Brinson Hattaway. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Todd Evans, Jamie Evans, Ben Yelverton, Ronnie Smith, and Dwain Walley.

Dorman enjoyed hunting, watching wrestling and was always up for a fishing trip, especially floating down the river with his fishing buddy, Harold Walley. After retirement, he enjoyed sitting on the porch solving the world's problems while petting his beloved fur baby, Cocoa. He and his love, Lois, also enjoyed cruising around the yard in their golf cart, working in the garden and flower beds.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Novella Brewer; sister, Opal (Melvin) Walley; sister, baby Mary Janice Brewer; and brother, Walton E. (Loree) Brewer.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Lois Evans Brewer; children, Mike (Vonda) Brewer of Runnelstown, Debra (Windell) Clark of State Line, Steve (Chelsi) Brewer of Diamondhead, and Michelle (Eric) Hattaway of Ponchatoula, LA; grandchildren, Derek, Lindsey, Jennifer, Brandon, Kristen, Brinson, and Sarah; and 12 great grandchildren.

The family humbly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations for New Testaments can be made to Gideons International in memory of Dorman Brewer.
