A memorial service will be held at a later date for Mrs. Doris "Jerrie" Freeman, age 78, of Beaumont.  Mrs. Freeman passed from this life on August 13, 2022 at her residence with her daughter by her side.

Mrs. Freeman was a retired owner of serveral businesses in Beaumont.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Verba Rae Brown; brothers, Freddie Brown, Jimmy Brown and Butch Brown; and sisters, Arlene Cox and Bobbie Jean Lind.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Freeman of Beaumont; son, Marty Freeman of Leakesville; daughter, Nancy Pitts (Malcolm Lott) of Beaumont; brothers, Jackie Brown of Saraland, AL and Tommy (Linda) Brown of Malcolm, AL; sister, Melva Rae Long of Saraland, AL; grandchildren, Natalie (Alton) Blankinchip, Devin (Tina) Freeman, Wesley (Lindsey) Freeman, Emily Freeman, and Kristin Guerin; great grandchildren, Gunner Blankinchip, Allie Blankinchip, Aubrey Blankinchip, Clarissa Freeman, and Charlotte Freeman.
