Services for Mrs. Donna Freeman Braddock, age 71, of Richton, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church in Piave.  Mrs. Braddock passed from this life on January 7, 2026 at Asbury Hospice House.  Bro. Thomas Holloway will officiate the service and burial will follow in Union Cemetery.   Serving as pallbearers will be Walker Brewer, Greg Cone, Chad Hession, Chance Hession, Justin Brewer, Mark Thurston, Kelly Warren, and Will Hession.

Donna devoted more than 25 years of her life to serving others as a registered nurse throughout South Mississippi. Her career was marked by compassion, dedication, and a genuine love for caring for people in their times of need.  She attended Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church, where her faith and fellowship were an important part of her life. Outside of her work and church, she found great joy in traveling, especially when it allowed her to spend time at the beach, one of her favorite places.  Above all, Donna cherished time with her family. Being together, making memories, and sharing life's moments brought her the greatest happiness.  She will be remembered for her caring heart, her commitment to others, and the love she shared with all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mike Freeman; father, Hugh (Dianne) Carter, Jr.; and mother, Neta Carter Hession.

She is survived by her husband, Lavelle Braddock; sons, Michael (Kalene) Freeman and Haywood (Janna) Freeman; grandchildren, Carson, Brayleigh, and Trace Freeman and Gracyn, Makayla, Brooklyn, and Layke Freeman; sisters, Belinda Hatton of Huntsville, Texas and Tommie King of Mize; brothers, Hugh Hession of Richton, Travis Hession of Purvis, Greg Carter of Runnelstown, and Tracy Carter of Runnelstown.
