Services for Mr. Donald R. Demaree, age 88, of Hattiesburg will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Jones and Son Chapel in Hattiesburg.  Mr. Demaree passed from this life on November 7, 2024 at his residence.  Bro. Jerry Rawls and Tim Pursley will officiate the service and burial will follow in Grantham Cemetery.   Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Demaree, Christopher Demaree, Alston Pursley, Oscar Stuart, Kyle Stuart, and Tim Pursley.

Mr. Demaree was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church (Burnt Bridge).  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served 21 years with the Air Force and National Guard before retirement.  He loved his family, his church, and his country.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Gertie Demaree; brother, Ronald Demaree; and sister, Sue Callison.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Demaree of Hattiesburg; sons, Christopher (Carol) Demaree of Hattiesburg, Richard (Kelli) Demaree of Sacramento, CA, and William Demaree of Hattiesburg; grandchildren, Joshua Demaree of Sacramento, CA, Christopher Demaree and Alexandra Demaree, both of Hattiesburg; brother, David Demaree of Visalia, CA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
