Services for Mrs. Diane Sanderson, age 80, of Hattiesburg, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Richton. Mrs. Sanderson passed from this life on June 22, 2026 in Hattiesburg.  Bro. Ronald Nowell and Bro. Josh Dunn will officiate the service and burial will follow in Eastside Baptist Church Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Pipkins, Brandon Bannon, Kyle Boszor, Bailey Bannon, Parker Evans, Mason Malone, and Darren Nicholson as alternate.

Diane was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, family member, and friend whose kindness, warmth, and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her.  She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Whether celebrating milestones, sharing stories, or simply enjoying time together, she treasured every moment they spent by her side.  She also had a passion for traveling, especially cruises, and embraced every opportunity to explore new places.  She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Richton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Mary "Mag" Malone; and brother, Larry Malone.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jimmy Sanderson; daughters, Pamela K. (Scott) Bannon of Mobile, AL, Angie D. (Travis) Phillips of Laurel, and Shari (Jason) Evans of Petal; grandchildren, Justin (Haley) Pipkins, Brandon K. (Stephanie) Bannon, Brittany Pipkins, Kyle (Maddy) Boszor, Bailey P. (Cassidy) Bannon, and Parker Evans; great grandchildren, William, Autumn, Scarlett, Emerson, Sophia, and Shauna; sister, Glenda (James) Nicholson; and brothers, Mike Malone (Melissa Meadows) and Eddie (Paula) Malone.
