Services for Mrs. Dessie May Nichols, age 63, of Richton, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Victory Heights Pentecostal Church in Ovett.  Mrs. Nichols passed from this life on September 14, 2024 in Richton, Mississippi.  Rev. Colon Rowell and Rev. David Williams will officiate the service and burial will follow in Welcome Home Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Bobo Clark, Malcolm Clark, Jimmy McLain, Brodie Hicks, Brayden Hicks, Russell Nicholson, and Casey Piper as alternate.

Mrs. Nichols was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Nichols; granddaughter, Kyra Nicholson; and parents, Willie Ray and Dorothy Clark.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Travis) Nicholson of Richton; son, Dewayne (Amanda) Nichols of Ovett; grandsons, Kayden Nicholson of Richton, Hunter Nichols, and Dalton Nichols, both of Ovett; brother, Byron Clark of Lucedale; and sisters, Dyan George of Lucedale, Becky (Rev. David) Williams of Ellisville, and Judy Lambeth of Lucedale.
