Services for Mrs. Delores "Mom" Nightingale, age 84, of Sumrall will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Jones and Son Chapel in Hattiesburg.  Mrs. Nightingale passed from this life on September 28, 2023.  Burial will be in Oloh Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Farron Nightingale, Barry Nightingale, Darrin Nightingale, Kopen Nightingale, Greg Bramlett, and Greg Nightingale.

Mrs. Nightingale was a faithful member of Oloh Baptist Church.  She was an avid bowler and headed up the Coffee Cup League at Southern Lanes in Petal.  She was a wonderful mother who adored her family and friends.

Mrs. Nightingale was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Nightingale; daughter, Sherry Nightingale; parents, Tommy and Doris Sellers; and brother, Gary Sellers.

She is survived by her children, Farron (Sheila) Nightingale of Osceola, MO, Karen (Greg) Bramlett of Lumberton, Barry Nightingale of Oloh, and Darrin Nightingale of Sumrall; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Sue Aaron, Debbie Demarks, and Ginger Tapp, all of Petal;  and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
