Services for Mrs. Delinda Malone, age 63, of Richton, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Mrs. Malone passed from this life on June 4, 2025 in Hattiesburg.  Bro. Dustin Dunnam, Bro. Steve Brewer, and Bro. Shane Giadrosich will officiate the service and burial will follow in Edwards Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Cain Palmer, Kelvin Freeman, Landon Smith, Parker Smith, Phil Barrera, Isaiah Phillips, and Zachary Barrera.

Mrs. Delinda was a beloved soul, a devout Christian whose faith, love, and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She was a devoted family woman who cherished every moment spent with her loved ones and found great joy in nurturing those close to her heart.  She had a deep love for books and the quiet peace of reading, as well as a fondness for fishing — enjoying the simple, grounding moments of nature. Her warm spirit extended far beyond her immediate circle; she made it a priority to stay connected with friends in her community, always offering encouragement, kindness, and a listening ear.  Her life was a testament to grace, strength, and enduring faith. She will be remembered not only for her love and generosity, but for the way she lived her values every single day.  She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and devotion, and she will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claiborne Malone; father, Jimmy  Brice Palmer; mother, Nila Jean Palmer Johnson; stepfather, Jack Johnson; and sister, Kimberly Freeman.

She is survived by her sons, Brice (Joy) Malone and Clayton Malone, both of Richton;granddaughter, Reghan Malone of Richton; brother, Ricky (Jennifer) Palmer of Richton; sister, Renee Barrera of Pensacola, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
