Services for Mrs. Deanna R. Hinton, age 86, of New Augusta will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Jones and Son Chapel in Beaumont.  Mrs. Hinton passed from this life on December 5, 2024 in New Augusta, Mississippi.  Bro. Terry Partin and Bro. Wesley Garner will officiate the service and burial will follow in Carter McSwain Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Hinton, Eian Hinton, Blake Hinton, Corey Martin, Matthew Martin, Ethan Martin, and Lonnie Byrd as alternate.

Mrs. Hinton worked at the Big Yank Corporation for 18 years until it closed.  She then went to work at Walmart for many years where she was a proud 5 star cashier.  She was a faithful caregiver and loved to bake and minister to people through food.  Mrs. Hinton was an active member of Disciples Chapel Church in New Augusta as well as an active member of the Red Hat Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ottice Hinton; sons, Bruce (Jane) Hinton and Timmy Hinton; parents, Buster and Bertha Rogers; brothers, Joseph (Carolyn) Rogers, Jimmy Rogers, Edward Rogers, and Charles Rogers; sister, Nell (Wookie) Deakle; and twin sister, Roanna (Eddie Lee) Hinton.

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Allen of New Augusta; son, Kenneth (Melissa) Hinton of New Augusta; grandchildren, Natosha (Cody) Hatten, Heath Allen, Tanya Hinton, Blake (Kayla) Hinton, Jacob (Abigail) Hinton, Lauren Hinton, and Eian Hinton; 9 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
