A gathering of friends will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 pm., Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Richton for Mr. Dean Owen Turner, age 55, of Richton.  Mr. Turner passed from this life on September 27, 2022 at Perry County General Hospital.

Mr. Turner was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.  He enjoyed making turkey boxes.

Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his  mother, Nell Anderson Woods; father, Buddy Turner; and step father, James Reed Woods.

He is survived by his son, Heath (Courtney) Turner of Semmes, AL; daughter, Hollie (Steven Kucera) Turner of Leakesville; brothers, James Mitchell Turner, Timothy (Donna) Woods, and Jimmie (Amanda) Woods, all of Richton; grandchildren, Grayson, Jackson, Waylon, Cailey, Cannon, Nash, Presley, and Lawson.
