Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2023, at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Hattiesburg for Mrs. Darlene Goar, age 63, of Sumrall, who passed away on July 3, 2023 at her residence.  Special speaker at the service will be Donna Michael. Burial will follow in the Old Advance Church Cemetery in Sumrall.  Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Bryant, James Lee Martin, Matt Martin, Adam Martin, William Rainey, Hunter Rainey and Cody Rainey as alternate.

Mrs. Goar was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Lillian Martin; brothers, Ernest Wayne, Buster, and George Martin; sisters, Linda Faye Johnson and Ann Bounds.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Goar of Sumrall; daughter, Janie (Rancin) Robertson of Leakesville; sister, Mary Breazeale of Purvis; brother, Robert (Christine) Martin of Lumberton; granddaughter, Brooklyn Robertson and grandson, Remington Robertson, both of Leakesville.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m Friday, July 7, 2023 at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
