A visitation will be held for Mr. Dale McDonald, age 62, of New Augusta, on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Richton from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.  Mr. McDonald passed from this life on October 10, 2024 in Hattiesburg.

Dale worked most of his life in all aspects of the construction industry.  He was a jack of all trades.  He loved the outdoors and fishing, woodworking, and tinkering with most anything.  Dale was a workaholic and strived to provide for his family.  He adored his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his children, Tabbatha Smith and Johnny Boyd; father, Dick McDonald; grandparents, Elvin and Vernell McDonald; and stepfather, Jimmy Coston.

He is survived by his children, Leshay (Chris) Butt of Birmingham, AL, Alisha McDonald of Sand Hill, Sommer (Bennie Earl) Tanner of Buck Creek, and Noah Odom of New Augusta; grandchildren, Lynzee, Malloree, Rylee, Destinee, Rissa, Makayla, Dathan, Jamie, Gracie, Kaylee, B.J., Jonathan, Kimber, Breanna, Shanna, Brook, Morgan, and Ryleigh; 10 great grandchildren; mother, Sue Coston; sisters, Suzette Kirkland of Petal, Jeanne Williamson of Columbia; spouse, Kathy Edwards; and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
