Services for Dakota "Kota" Mills, age 3, of Richton will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Lighthouse of Hope Church in Richton. Kota passed from this life on June 25, 2024.  Bro. Barry Sullivan, Bro. Larry Reynolds, and Bro. Steve Brewer will officiate the service and burial will follow in Edwards Cemetery.   Serving as pallbearers will be Mak Walley, Christopher Murphy, Bryson Burch, Dawson Burch, Gunner Pittman, and Libby Newell.

Kota attended Lighthouse of Hope Church.  He was a blessed little boy who loved to play with his brothers, momma, and daddy.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, L.T. Edwards, David Walley, and Henry Mills.

He is survived by his parents, MaShae Mills and Jensen Dykes, both of Richton; brothers, Brody and Liam, both of Richton; grandparents, Sam and Regina Mills and Kenny and Andrea Dykes, all of Richton; aunts and uncles, Alley Mills, Lana (Charlie) Murphy, Layla Johnson, and Josiah Dykes; great grandparents, Gerald and Geri Dykes, Joyce Walley, Sallie Mills, Ann Edwards, and Jerry Palmer; cousins, Christopher, Tommy, Anna, Zander, Oliver, and Scarlett; and a host of other extended family members.
