Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Kensington Woods Church of Christ, 415 South 40th Avenue, Hattiesburg, MS 39402 for Mrs. Charlotte Winters, age 62, of Ellisville. Mrs. Winters passed from this life on July 21, 2026. Pastor Troy Long will officiate.

Charlotte worked in the early childhood development/daycare field for 30 years where she touched the lives of over 500 children. She enjoyed cooking, music and spending time with her family. She loved thrift shopping and hit yard sales and thoroughly enjoyed camping and outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Douglas and Della Mae Blount; grandson, Bryant Bell; brother, Doug Blount and sister-in-law, Shirley Blount; and nephew, Levelle Blount, Jr.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Nelson E. Winters of Ellisville; daughters, Dawn (Bill) Long and Jessica Winters both of Fairhope, AL; son, Nelson E. (David) Winters, II of Fairhope, AL; brother, Roy (Helen) Blount; sister, Marilyn Long; grandson, Triston Bell; granddaughter, Kimberly Bell and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Kensington Woods Church of Christ.

Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle is in charge of the services.
