Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in the Jesus Name Church of Ellisville for Charlotte Ann Davis Walters, age 72, of Ellisville. Mrs. Walters went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 3, 2026, while she was surrounded by her loved ones. Bro. David Williams and Vivian Walker will officiate with burial to follow the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Jay Davis, Charlie Ellard, Johnny Davis, Jake Davis and Dalton Cochran.

Charlotte was born on February 8, 1954, in Laurel, MS to Ray and Melwese Jordan Davis. She was a member of Jesus Name Church of Ellisville. She retired after 30 years of service as a CNA.

She was preceded in death by her dad; granddaughter, Britni Ann Walters; grandparents, Nonnie Bynum and James Bynum; grandparents, Alma Davis and Wiley Davis and uncles, John Jordan and Ray Jordan.

She is survived by her children, Linda Gail Carruth of Petal, Marvin Jason Walters (Amanda) of Seminary, Misty Lynn Byrd (Paul Douglas) of Ellisville; grandchildren, Michael Byrd, Dylon Walters, Ashton Carruth and Braxton Oakes; mother, Melwese Smith of Ellisville; brothers, David Davis (Deloris) and Charles Ray Davis (Angie) both of Ellisville and Ron Davis (Joyce) of Hattiesburg; sisters, Vivian Ann Walker (Steve) of Mt. Olive and Wynette Peele of Seminary; aunt, Sue Jordan of Seminary and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Jesus Name Church of Ellisville.

Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle is in charge of the services.
