10:30 a.m.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2026, in the Sellers Cemetery for Mr. Charlie Thompson, age 91, of Moselle. Mr. Thompson passed away on February 13, 2026, at Jones County Rest Home of Ellisville. Bro. Chris Walters will officiate with burial following the services.

Charlie was born on December 13, 1934, in Moselle, MS to Ben F. and Thelma Jones Thompson. He owned and operated A.C. Electrical for many years in the Hattiesburg area. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Thompson; son, David Thompson; daughter, Kim Brashier; granddaughter, Lauren Bailey; parents; brothers, Bobby Thompson, Ben "Jupie" Thompson and John V. "Teeny" Thompson and sister, Billie Davis.

Charlie is survived by his children, Charlie (Gladys) Thompson of Petal, Darren Thompson of Moselle and Carol Baker of Kiln; step-children, Jan Nowlin of Laurel and David Hamm of Moselle; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren and sisters, Nellie Castleberry of Arlington, TX, Annett Ireland of Petal, Mary Jack Cooley of Washington, Beverely Long of Georgia and Jane Stringer of Texas.

Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle is in charge of the services.
