Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton for Mr. Charles Louis Smith, age 92, of Petal.  Mr. Smith passed from this life on October 1, 2022 at his residence.  Bro. Ronnie Nowell and Bro. David Mills will officiate the service with burial to follow in Corinth Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Devin McLaurin, Dakota Russell, Jacob Nowell, Jack Russell Sr., Jack Russell Jr., and Randy Nowell.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Polly Smith; son, Charles Louis Smith, Jr., and granddaughter, Keya Little.

He is survived by his daughter, Loretta Russell of Petal; granddaughters, Melissa (Randy) Nowell of Waynesboro, Theresa Russell of Petal, and Jennifer Little of Picayune; grandsons, Jack (Candice) Russell of Carriere and Corey Little of Louisiana; great grandchildren, Jacob, Maranda, Jack Jr., Jonathan, Olivia, Timothy, Dakota, Devin, Gavin, Renee, Kayleigh, Christian, Jeremiah, Owen, Emma, Keya, Kia, Kyleigh, Kiar, and Charlie; and daughter-in-law, Bridget Smith of Alaska.
