Services for Mr. Charles Adams, age 83, of McLain, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Buffalo Missionary Baptist Church in McLain.  Mr. Adams passed from this life on June 7, 2025 in Perkinston, Mississippi.  Rev. Zachary Cochran and Rev. Don Brown will officiate the service and burial will follow in Buffalo Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Joe Cochran, Josh Hoyle, Raine Bufkin, Mickey Hodges, James Adams, and Jonathan Vines.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dewayne Smith, Calvin Dixon, and Bryan Jenkins.

Mr. Adams was a retired employee of Degussa Corporation, where he dedicated many years of hard work and service. He was a faithful member of Buffalo Missionary Baptist Church, where he found joy and community through his faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Burt and Lillie Helen Adams; and brother, Murray Adams.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce B. Adams of McLain, MS; daughter, Scarlet Adams (Troy) Tatum of Mobile, AL; son, Charles Bufkin (Fellisha) Adams of Lafayette, TN; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and brother, James H. Adams of Point Clear, AL
