Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton, for Ms. Charlene Marshall, age 64, of Leakesville.  Ms. Marshall passed from this life on July 22, 2022 at her residence.  Bro. Herbert Wiggers will officiate the service and burial will follow in Tiger Creek Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Eric Pearce, Roger Vanderslice, Steve Marshall, Michael Dement, Tommy Creel, and Butch Dement.

Ms. Marshall was preceded in death by her father, J.T. Dement and nephew, Tommy Minyard.

She is survived by her mother, Ella Sanders of Leakesville; sister, Billie (Smokey) Acebo of Okeechobee, best friend, Steve Marshall of Fairhope, AL; stepmother, Sarah Dement of Richton; and great niece, Savannah Bowar of Richton.

Ms. Marshall worked for many years as a caregiver.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Richton.
