Graveside services for Mr. Cecil D. Prine, age 85, of Beaumont will be held at 9:00 a.m., Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the Myra Janette Fortenberry Courtney Cemetery in New Augusta.  Mr. Prine passed from this life on September 13, 2023 at Asbury Hospice House.  Bro. Kenneth McLendon will officiate the service.

Mr. Prine worked most of his life in construction as a heavy equipment operator and as a job superintendant.  He absolutely loved to deer hunt!  He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Glenda McSwain Prine of Beaumont; son, Stuart (Pam) Prine of Beaumont; daughter, Kelly (Mike) Fairley of McLain; grandchildren, Dustin (Makayla) Fairley, Dalton (Arika) Fairley, Colby (Judy) Prine, Josh (Andrea) McSwain, and Jason (Amber) McSwain; great grandchildren, Easton Fairley, Wayne Fairley, and Ella Prine; brother, Dizzy (Donna) Prine of Charleston, MS; and three nephews.
