Services celebrating the extraordinary life of Mr. Carroll B. Burt, of Hattiesburg, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25th, 2025, with visitation starting at 9 a.m. in the Moselle chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Soule's Chapel Cemetery.

Carroll was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi before opening his first of many businesses.

He was a true entrepreneur. He owned and operated All Pro Music in Petal and Hattiesburg for over 25 years, as well as opening Fun Jump Events, Petal Antiques and Monkey Bizz Fun Center of Baton Rouge. Music and entertainment were a very big part of Carroll's life. He did lights and sound for several large venues. He was an accomplished musician and singer and was part of several bands over the years, "FX", and "The Soul Doctors" to name a few. He also took a liking to working on film/tv down in New Orleans and across the south, and even had his original song "Trade It All For You" performed in a Netflix movie. (Very proud moment) As his many many friends would say, "He was one cool dude."

Carroll found his joy in helping others, making people laugh, taking care of his family and spending time with them.

Carroll is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Voncile Burt.

He is survived by the love of his life, Lisa Burt; his children, Blake (Lauren) Burt, and Grace Burt; cousin, Keith Burt; his stepbrothers, Mark (Debbie) Young and Larry (Cathy) Young; and sister, Vonneice Flora.

Carroll was loved as a brother and son by the entire Morgan family.
