4:30 - 9:00 p.m.

Services will be held Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at Pineview Church of God for Mr. Byron Joseph "Joe" Breland, age 74, of Richton, who died on March 19, 2024.  Bro. Steve Brewer, Bro. Hunter Brewer and Bro. Don Fulmer will officiate the service with burial to follow at Walley-Breland Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Myrick, Ross Page, Michael Freeman, Buster Blue, Jim Blue, Jason Edwards, Carson Edwards and Mike Nowell.

Mr. Breland was a faithful member of Pineview Independent Church of God, where he served as Chairman of the Deacon Board for many years.  It was evident by the life he lived that he loved the Lord with all his heart.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and his love for his family was unconditional.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 37 years, Elsie Breland; and parents, Byron Colon (Papa Jack) Breland and Arthea Lea (Granny) Breland.

Joe is survived by his son, Byron Timothy Breland; daughter, Christy Lee Breland; grandson, Christian Kade Breland; granddaughter, Ainsley Elise Breland; sisters, Sue (Eulle) Bates, and Faye Malone; brothers, Jesse Breland and James Breland, all of Richton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Joe will be held from 4:30 – 9:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Pineview Church of God.
