INTERMENT:    Runnelstown Cemetery

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, March 3, 2023 at Runnelstown Cemetery, for Mr. Brian Farmer, age 48, of Lumberton.  Mr. Farmer passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on February 24, 2023 in Mobile, AL.  Pallbearers will be Colin Smith, David Woods, Noah Woods, and Chris Smith.

Brian was born on August 28, 1974 in Bogalusa, LA.  He had a charismatic personality and a great sense of humor. He was a talented artist who was always doodling on something. He also had a talent for playing the piano by ear. His sister would practice for hours and get so frustrated when he would sit down and play whatever she had been working so hard on in a matter of minutes.

He was the ultimate prankster and adventurer, a master of mischief. Those who knew him best can all agree that he was always the wittiest and most charming person, the life of the party.

Brian loved his children fiercely and unconditionally. He always boasted that they were his greatest achievement.

Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Glynn Farmer; mother, Barbara Ann Mitchell Woods; sister, Chantel Suzette Farmer; and brother, Benjamin Gladney "Ben G" Farmer II.

He is survived by his children, Christopher Rayne Farmer of Ovett and Karin Chantel Farmer of Lumberton; siblings, David Woods, Heidi (Chris) Smith, and Kimberly  Farmer Hess; and a host of nieces, nephews, dear friends and relatives beyond counting.
