Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025, in the Jones and Son Chapel of Moselle for Mr. Bobby Joe Styron, age 88, of Oceans Springs, MS. Mr. Styron passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at his residence. Bro. Larry Darden and Bro. Danny Balint will officiate with the burial to follow in the County Line Cemetery of Ellisville. Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Shaw, Sam Permenter, Joey Styron, Sean Styron, Bryan Styron and Caleb Babin with David Butler, Gus Donohue, Shawn Lazawa, Don Burch, Eddie Jenkins, Taylor McLemore, Jerry Tapp and Braden Parks as the alternates. Honorary pallbearers will be Jayce Babin and Aiden Hyde.

Bobby was a member of Belle Fountain Baptist Church. He retired from Woodmen of the World Insurance Company in 2008 after 30 years of service. After retiring from the insurance company, he worked for the Ocean Springs School District for 17 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Lee Styron; son, Henry Wade; parents, Richard and Hilda Styron and brother, Billy Styron, Sr.

He is survived by his daughters, Alicia (Tony) Shaw of Greenville, MS and Judy Styron of Ocean Springs, MS; son, Richard (Candy) Styron of Ocean Springs, MS; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and sisters, Jerrie Bouse of Port Bolivar, TX and Myra Stansill of Corpus Christie, TX.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  Saturday, August 16, 2023, at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Moselle.
