Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Zion's Rest Missionary Baptist Church, for Mrs. Bobbie Freeman, age 78, of Richton.  Mrs. Freeman passed from this life on September 20, 2022 at her residence.  Bro. Rayburn Freeman and Bro. Dustin Helton will officiate the service with burial to follow in Freeman Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Alan Watson, Josh Nelson, Shane Freeman, Kelvin Freeman, Tracy Freeman, Adam Brewer, Clifton Freeman, B.J. Clark, and Craig Freeman.

Mrs. Bobbie was born to Clifton "Shorty" and Audrey Watson on November 28, 1943 at the end of Freemantown Road in an old log cabin. She enjoyed her marriage of 59 years to Ben Freeman.  For many years she enjoyed baking cakes and sewing for her girls and granddaughters.  She was an active member of Zion's Rest Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Freeman; parents, Shorty and Audrey Watson; sister, Sally Freeman; and brothers, Thomas Watson and Lavon Watson.

She is survived by her daughters, Connie Lockhart, Joyce Freeman, and Mahala (Mikey) Cooper, all of Richton; grandchildren, Hanah (Josh) Nelson, Heidi (Brandon) Sullivan, Maegan Cooper, Alex (Jill) Lockhart, and Michael Cooper, all of Richton; great granddaughter, Rylee Lockhart of Richton; 2 great grandsons and a great granddaughter on the way; and sister, Ramona (Dale) Brewer of Richton.
